The Douglasville Historic Preservation Commission is made up of residents of the City of Douglasville who are interested in the fields of architecture, historic preservation, building construction, history, and architectural history. As volunteers appointed by the City Council and ratified by Douglasville's Mayor, members hold office for a term of three years. The commission meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers of City Hall. Meetings are always open to the public. Work sessions or special meetings are called as necessary.
