City Officials & Employees Assist With Kiwanis "Kids Christmas Special"

City staff at Kiwanis Kids Christmas

Volunteers from all over Douglasville and Douglas County gathered at WalMart on December 14th to help 100 needy youth from our community shop for Christmas gifts.

Each year the Douglas County Kiwanis Club sponsors "Kids Christmas Special" which provides Christmas gifts for the kids and their families.

Mayor Rochelle Robinson, Councilman Chris Watts, Deputy Chief Sue Anne Shaw, Conference Center Supervisor Carlos Underwood, and multiple representatives from the Douglasville PD helped the young ones with their shopping.

Each child had $100.00 to spend on themselves and their family.
