The Douglasville Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting was held on Friday December 1st on Church Street in Downtown Douglasville.
A huge crowd came out to see the twinkling lights and floats, as well as some great Christmas tunes from area high school marching bands.
Santa closed out the parade riding in the antique Douglasville fire truck.
Then Mayor Rochelle Robinson counted down to the lighting of the Douglasville Christmas Tree.
All the while, folks enjoyed food trucks, hot chocolate, live reindeer, and having photos made with Santa.
Local dance companies, a soloist, and a jazz ensemble entertained on the O'Neal Plaza stage.
Here are some photos from the event.
