Inaugural "Dose of Douglasville" Citizen's Academy Class

Dose of Douglasville

"A Dose of Douglasville" is an 8-week program to acquaint residents of Douglasville with the structure of the City government and services we provide. The Academy provides residents with information, resources, and tools to become knowledgeable community members and effective neighborhood leaders.  Many in the class are recent Douglasville transplants, but some are lifelong residents. All have a desire to serve their community, and they believe that starts with learning how local government works.
