New Millage Rate set

Council and Citizens listen to FY 19 Budget Presentation

The City of Douglasville has adopted a millage rate which will require an increase in property taxes by 13.76 percent.

This increase will result in a millage rate of 7.211 mills, an increase of 0.30 mills.

The tax increase for a home with a Fair market value of $125,000 is approximately $43.60 annually and the tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $150,000 is approximately $52.32 annually.
