At their July 17th meeting, Douglasville City Council voted to appoint Patrice Williams to the position of Community Development Director.

Ms. Williams was nominated for the position by Mayor Rochelle Robinson, and has worked at the City for 5 years.

Her public policy career goes back nearly 20 years though, with stops in the Georgia Senate Information Office, the Georgia Municipal Association, and the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

Ms. Williams will oversee all Community Development activities for the City of Douglasville.
