Douglasville City Manager Marcia Hampton named Secretary/Treasurer of GCCMA

Due to management changes at the Georgia City-County Management Association, Douglasville City Manager Marcia Hampton has been chosen to fill the vacant position of Secretary/Treasurer at GCCMA. Ms. Hampton was formerly the Metro District Representative for the organization.

Other managers were also shifted including Athens-Clarke County Manager, Blaine Williams from Secretary/Treasurer to Vice President, and Union City Manager Sonja Fillingame to fill the position of Metro District Representative vacated by Ms. Hampton.

Columbia County Administrator Scott Johnson, who is President of GCCMA made the announcement on Friday July 27, 2018.

The Georgia City-County Management Association (GCCMA) is a recognized affiliate organization of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), a professional group comprised of appointed administrators serving cities, counties, regional councils and other local government in the State of Georgia.
