Two Referendum Issues On Douglasville Ballot for 11/6/18

Vote 11-6-18

There are currently no Municipal elections to elect City officials for Douglasville in 2018.

However, there are two referendum issues that will be on the ballot on November 6, 2018 for city residents to vote on:

  • Shall the Act be approved which authorizes the City of Douglasville to utilize tax allocation districts and redevelopment powers under the 'Redevelopment Powers Law,' as it may be amended from time to time.
  • Shall the governing authority of the City of Douglasville be authorized to permit and regulate Sunday sales of distilled spirits or alcoholic beverages for beverage purposes by the drink from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.

There are also precinct changes that will be implemented by the Douglas County Board of Elections and Registration for the November 6, 2018 election. These changes will consolidate precincts so city residents no longer have to vote at multiple locations. If you have questions about your precinct voting location, please feel free to visit www.mvp.sos.ga.gov after September 17th to verify changes.
