In Memorium: Michael J. Miller, Esq.

Miller Memorium

The family of Ward 2, Post 1 Councilman Michael J. Miller has informed the City of Douglasville of his passing during the early morning hours of Monday, November 19, 2018.

To respect the privacy of Mr. Miller’s close friends and family, the City of Douglasville will refer all personal inquiries to his law firm’s media contact, Amy Parrish.

“I along with the Members of the Douglasville City Council and all the City employees and citizens have heavy hearts and will mourn Mike’s passing,” Mayor Rochelle Robinson said, “the Douglasville City Council Team extend our prayers of peace and comfort to his beautiful wife Nycole and their family. We will continue to offer our support to Councilman Miller’s family, friends and law-firm during this very difficult time.”

Here are the arrangements for Councilman Miller.

City staff has been directed to identify the City’s options for filling Mr. Miller’s vacated seat. Those options will be presented to the City Council for discussion and their ultimate determination in February 2019.
