Digital Media Camp

The Douglasville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Digital Media Camp at the Ike Owings Community Center. The participants of the program are afforded the opportunity to learn Mass Media basics and skills on how to operate a video camera. Participant will also learn how to create commercials, edit videos, and create flyers while gaining an understanding of the importance of reach, target audience, and demographics. Campers will visit local TV stations and take advantage of a behind the scene look at the television broadcasting. The camp is open to both boys and girls between the ages of 10-14.

There are two sessions:

June 24th through 28th from 9am to Noon

July 15th through 19th from 9am to Noon
