21st Annual Cultural Arts Council Chili Cook Off & Moonlight Run

It was a beautiful October night in Douglasville, and a large crowd came out to enjoy some chili and a 5K run after dinner!

The Douglasville/Douglas County Cultural Arts Council's 21st annual Chili Cook Off was held on October 21st followed immediately by the 38th Annual Douglasville Moonlight Run sponsored by the Douglas County Rogue Runners. 

Chili winners

Chili Cook Off Winners:

Most Sold Chili – Ark Restoration
Best Tasting Chili – The Vine Café and Market
Spiciest Chili – Infused Bath & Body
Best Decorated Booth – Ark Restoration
Best costume infant – age 5 category was Little Miss Vera Perkins “Scarecrow”
Best  costume 1st grade – 5th grade category  was Miss Julian Lunceford “Steam Punk”
Best costume 6th grade – 12th grade category was Miss Diamond Green “Wonderwoman”
Best costume adults category was Mr. Tony Dennis “Dracula”

Moonlight Run Winner: Mr. Francis Ramiri with a time of 15:06.79 for the 5K run

Wheelchair 5K winner: John Pulliam with a 5K time of 21:00.8
