The City of Douglasville will break ground for new Maintenance & Sanitation Facilities early in December.

The City's 2016 SPLOST project list included the renovation and new constructions costs for the facilities.

The City owned property at 8485 West Courthouse Square will be renovated for the use of administrative offices and City owned property on Cedar Mountain Road will become the location for a Maintenance and Sanitation shop facility for the departments operations.

The department currently handles its full operations out of the older, smaller, and space-limited facilities housed on Club drive.
