Douglasville City Manager Marcia Hampton named VP of GCCMA
The Georgia City-County Management Association has chosen Douglasville City Manager Marcia Hampton as Vice President of GCCMA.
Ms. Hampton was formerly the Secretary/Treasurer for the organization. She will spend her one-year term serving alongside the President, Blaine Williams, Manager of Athens-Clarke County.
“I’m thrilled to step into this new role,” said Hampton. “I’m more than willing and ready to lead alongside Blaine and together we’ll continue to serve in the capacity that we know best. I’m always here to continue to provide exceptional service to not only my peers, but everyone that we come in contact with.”
The Georgia City-County Management Association (GCCMA) is a recognized affiliate organization of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), a professional group comprised of appointed administrators serving cities, counties, regional councils and other local government in the State of Georgia.
