Mayor Rochelle Robinson Speaks at Stewart Middle School Black History Month Celebration

The Stewart Middle School (SMS) Black History Month celebration is a big event every year, and Mayor Rochelle Robinson was delighted to make remarks at the program this year.

Douglas County Commission Chair Dr. Romona Jackson Jones introduced the guest speaker for the event, Rick Martin, Douglas County Communications & Community Relations Director.

Other speakers and performers included the Annette Wynn Elementary School Dance and Bucket Brigade, Zion Clonts, the SMS Divas, Superintendent Trent North, SMS Teacher Cedric Huddleston, the SMS Band, SMS Principal Dr. Donita Cullen, and various students who recited poetry and Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech.
