Book an Alcohol Licensing Consultation

If you are seeking an alcoholic beverage license in the City of Douglasville, our Finance Department has made personnel available to meet with you and guide you through this process. This calendar lists the times that personnel are available to assist you. Please note that if no one is available at your selected time due to other departmental obligations, you will be contacted to reschedule.

Any alcohol beverage licensing inquiries should book an appointment during an available time slot. This is to ensure that there is ample time available to meet with the applicant(s) and answer any of their questions and to help guide them through the licensing process.

  1. Applicant schedules a meeting during an available timeslot
  2. Finance staff verifies booking and reaches out to the applicant with necessary paperwork that may be completed ahead of the meeting
  3. Finance staff person meets with applicant to address any inquiries and guides them through the licensing process
    • If application is completed and fees are ready to be paid they may be taken at that time
    • Applicant is notified of any additional requirements/steps at that time and additional meetings may also be scheduled

Walk-ups are strongly discouraged due to limited staff. If a conference room is needed this will allow for staff to book a room to meet with the applicant(s).

Meetings are only necessary for new licensing inquiries/requests, changes in Agent Outlet Managers, or similar changes to a business’s alcohol beverage license(s).

Things like payments can still be submitted via mail, or dropped off at the payment counter in City Hall.
