Recycling 101

Want to help your group become better recyclers? Keep Douglasville Beautiful offers Recycling 101, a free and interactive presentation for local organizations, civic groups, schools, camps, HOAs, businesses, and community groups. Our team will come directly to your location to share practical recycling tips, explain how to Recycle Right, and provide an inside look at what can and cannot be recycled in Douglasville. Participants will also learn about the city's Recycling Center and discover simple ways to reduce waste and make a positive impact in their community.

Recycling 102

Take your recycling knowledge a step further with Recycling 102. This hands on experience builds on Recycling 101 with a short refresher in our Education Room followed by a volunteer experience at the Recycling Center where you can see recycling in action. It is a great way to learn, get involved, and make a real impact in your community.

Biannual Recycling Events

Recycling Events

Keep Douglasville Beautiful in partnership with the City of Douglasville holds Electronics and Scrap Metal Recycling Event in the Spring, and on Saturday October 3 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm at the overflow parking lot of First Presbyterian Church located at 9190 Campbellton Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.

This is a biannual event.

We will accept all electronics and scrap metal.

Please Note: There is a $5 charge for each monitor or TV dropped off at this recycling event. All other items are free to recycle.
