Douglasville CVB Mobile Welcome Center Van

The City of Douglasville’s Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) proudly unveiled its new Mobile Welcome Center Van during the Stranger Things Block Party in downtown Douglasville. The debut marks an exciting step forward in expanding visitor engagement and promoting Douglasville as a vibrant destination for both residents and travelers.

The Mobile Welcome Center made its first public appearance serving as the official Information Booth for the Stranger Things Block Party, assisting attendees with event details, local attractions, and visitor information. Outfitted with digital displays, branded materials, and on-the-go resources, the van is designed to bring the City’s hospitality and tourism services directly to the community under its Discover Douglasville campaign.

“We’ve been working on this project for a while, and we’re thrilled to finally share it with the public,” said Jessica Withrow, Tourism Program Manager for the City of Douglasville. “Our Mobile Welcome Center lets us connect with visitors wherever they are, from local festivals and concerts to community gatherings, all while sharing the best of what Douglasville has to offer.”

The new van represents another step in Douglasville’s ongoing efforts to enhance outreach and visitor services. Beyond major events like the Stranger Things Block Party, the Mobile Welcome Center will appear at future community festivals, sporting events, and tourism initiatives throughout the year.
