Stewart Parkway Resurfacing Begins April 21

Starting Monday, April 21, the City of Douglasville will begin resurfacing and restriping all five lanes of Stewart Parkway. Work will take place Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5PM and is expected to last about three weeks. The road will remain open, but delays are likely. Please consider alternate routes when possible.

This project is part of the 2024 Supplemental LMIG contract and is funded by 2022 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) dollars. Many residents have requested improvements to Stewart Parkway, and we’re proud to deliver on that commitment.
