The City of Douglasville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, to consider a request for variances from sections 5.04.B, 9.01.E.1 and 9.01.E.2 of the Unified Development Ordinance regarding Accessory building height, stream buffer reductions and impervious setback reductions. The site consists of +/- 132.20 acres located at 7800 West Strickland Street in Land Lots 189 and 190, District 2, Section 5, Parcel IDs 01890250021, 01900250009, and 01900250108. The request for all variances will be considered at the Regular Voting Meeting on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025. All meetings are held at 6:00 pm, in Suite 300, Jessie Davis Park, 7775 Malone Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Amazon Data Services, Inc. The City of Douglasville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, to consider a request for variances from sections 8.01 and 8.02 of the Unified Development Ordinance to (A) Reduce the landscape setback to the west from 15 feet to 11 feet. (B) Reduce the landscape setback to the south from 10 feet to 0. (C) Reduce the parking setback to the south from 10 feet to 0.The site consists of +/- 1.019 acres located at 664 Thornton Rd. in Land Lot 423, District 18, Section 2, Parcel ID 04231820001. The request for all variances will be considered at the Regular Voting Meeting on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025. All meetings are held at 6:00 pm, at Jessie Davis Park, 7775 Malone Street., Suite 300, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Kimley Horn. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.

The City of Douglasville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 28th , 2025, to consider a request for variance from section 4.08 (B) of the Unified Development Ordinance to allow the Canopy accessory structure to be placed in the Front Yard Setback along GA Highway 5.The site consists of +/- 1.34 acres located at 9415 GA Highway 5 in Land Lot 160, District 2, Section 5, Parcel ID 01600250002. The request for variance will be considered at the Regular Voting Meeting on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025. All meetings are held at 6:00 pm, at Jessie Davis Park, 7775 Malone Street, Suite 300, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by SK GA Partners, LLC. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.
