The following Planning and Zoning items will be on the agenda for the October 20 meeting:

PCCV25-0011

The City of Douglasville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 16th, 2025, to consider a request for variances from sections 8.01 and 8.02 of the Unified Development Ordinance to (A) Reduce the landscape setback from 10 feet to 5 feet, (B) Reduce the required parking to the left of the development from 31 spaces to 29 spaces, and (C) Reduce the required parking to the right of the development from 45 spaces to 35 spaces. The site consists of +/- 2.14 acres located on Dallas Hwy in Land Lot 51, District 1, Section 5, Parcel IDs 0051015C005 and 0051015C028. The request for all variances will be considered at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, October 20th, 2025. All meetings are held at 6:00 pm, at Jessie Davis Park, 7775 Malone Street., Suite 300, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Wintercress, Inc and Sanhi’s Holdings, LLC. The City of Douglasville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 16th, 2025, to consider a request for a Variance from sections 4.10.G.4, 8.02.F, and 9.01 for +/- 1.50 acres located at 8650 Club Drive in Land Lot 16, District 1, Section 5, Parcel ID 0016015A013. The request for variances will be considered at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, October 20th, 2025. All meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, in Suite 300 at Jessie Davis Park, 7775 Malone Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Norhaven Partners, LLC. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.

The City of Douglasville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 16th, 2025, to consider a request for a change in zoning from GC (General Commercial) to TCMU (Town Center Mixed Use) for +/- 1.50 acres located at 8650 Club Drive in Land Lot 16, District 1, Section 5, Parcel ID 0016015A013. The request for rezoning will be considered at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, October 20th, 2025. All meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, in Suite 300 at Jessie Davis Park, 7775 Malone Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Norhaven Partners, LLC. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.
