The Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 to consider a request for a change in zoning from PUD (Planned Unit Development, District) with a base zoning of OD (Office Distribution, District), to LI (Light Industrial, District) for +/- 25.95 acres located on 9850 Commerce Way and 1651 Roberts Road, in Land Lot 162, District 1, Section 5, Parcel ID 01620150030. The request for rezoning will be considered at the City Council's Legislative Meeting on Thursday, September 17th, 2026, and voted upon at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, September 21st, 2026. All meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by The City of Douglasville. The request for rezoning will be considered at the City Council's Legislative Meeting on Thursday, September 17th, 2026, and voted upon at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, September 21st, 2026. Both Planning Commission and City Council meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Maxim Logistics, LLC. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.

The request for the special land use permit will be considered at the City Council's Legislative Meeting on Thursday, September 17th, 2026, and voted upon at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, September 21st, 2026.
