Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Input Meeting

The City of Douglasville invites residents to comment and participate in a public input meeting regarding its intent to apply for up to $1,000,000 in funding through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program administered by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.

The hearing will be Saturday April 4th at 1 PM to 3 PM at Jessie Davis Park Community Center, 7775 Jessie Davis Park Drive, Suite 300, Douglasville, GA  30134.

There is also a public comment period now through April 3, at 5 PM. You can email your comments to zoning@douglasvillega.gov before that date.

These funds are intended to support projects that primarily benefit low- and moderate-income individuals, including activities related to housing, public facilities, and economic development.

The purpose of the hearing is to gather citizen input on community needs, discuss eligible activities, and review progress on prior CDBG-funded projects. All interested residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback.
