The Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 to consider a request for a change in zoning from CBD (Central Business District) to PSP (Public-Semi-Public, District) for +/- 0.73 acres located on 6709, 6713, and 6717 Church Street in Land Lot 16, District 1, Section 5, Parcel ID 0016015C013, 0016015C012, and 0016015C016. The request for rezoning will be considered at the City Councils Legislative Meeting on Thursday, May 14th, 2026 and voted upon at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, May 18th, 2026. The City of Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, to consider a request for a special land use permit for a Fabricated Metal Products Manufacturing Facility. The site consists of +/- 4.83 acres located on Vansant Road in Land Lot 903, District 18, Section 2, Parcel ID 09031820002 and a portion of Parcel ID 09031820006. The request for the special land use permit will be considered at the City Councils Legislative Meeting on Thursday, May 14th, 2026 and voted upon at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, May 18th, 2026. Both Planning Commission and City Council meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. The site consists of +/- 1.16 acres located at 6339 Cornelia Drive, Douglasville, GA 30134, in Land Lot 22, District 1, Section 5, Parcel ID 0022015B007. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, and Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, May 18th, 2026. Both Planning Commission and Council meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by Honor Seniors Personal Care Home. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.

The City of Douglasville’s Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 5th, 2026, to consider a request to amend section 3.07.A the Unified Development Ordinance to propose new language for the Planned Residential Development Zoning Development. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, and Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, May 18th, 2026. Both Planning Commission and Council meetings will be held at 6:00 pm, in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium, 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134.
