The City of Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, to consider a request for Special Land Use Permit for a Massage Parlor for property zoned GC (General Commercial, District) being located at and a portion of +/- 2.38 acres on 639 Thornton Road, Suite 111, Lithia Springs, GA 30122, in Land Lot 423, District 18, Section 2, Parcel ID 04231820014.The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, and Regular Voting Meeting on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026. This meeting will be held at 6:00 pm, in Suite 300 at Jessie Davis Park, 7775 Malone Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by K Massage 18 L.P. The City of Douglasville Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, to consider a request for a change in zoning from PUD (Planned Unit Development District), PSP (Public-Semi-Public District), and GC (General Commercial District) to PUD (Planned Unit Development, District) for +/- 82.20 acres located on Bill Arp Road and Rose Avenue, Land Lot 161, District 2, Section 5, Parcel ID 01610250017 and 01610250043 and Land Lot 162, District 2, Section 5, Parcel ID 01620250029. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 15th, 2026, and Regular Voting Meeting on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026. All meetings are held at 6:00 pm, in Suite 300 at Jessie Davis Park, 7775 Malone Street, Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Application by DRB Group Georgia, LLC. Interested parties may attend the public hearing.

When

Location

The Planning Commission meetings on January 8, and February 3, 2026 will be at Jessie Davis Park. Starting March 3, 2026, Planning Commission meetings will move back to the Douglasville Conference Center at 6700 Church Street in downtown Douglasville.
