Business of the Year (Douglasville Downtown Champion Award)

The City of Douglasville is accepting nominations for the 2026 Douglasville Downtown Champion Award.

This award recognizes a local downtown business that demonstrates excellence in customer service, community involvement, and commitment to supporting the vitality of the downtown district. The recipient actively contributes to the energy and economic success of Downtown Douglasville.

Here are the judging criteria:

  • Must be a Downtown Douglasville business
  • Must be established and in operation for at least two (2) years
  • Supports the growth and vitality of downtown business district through community involvement, job creation, capital investment (i.e. façade improvements, renovations), and significant business achievement with support of Main Street Events and Initiatives

The distinguished business will be honored at the Historical Preservation Luncheon on May 11th, 2026.
