The Adopt-A-Road litter prevention initiative empowers volunteer groups, families, churches, service organizations, schools and businesses to show their pride in Douglasville by keeping their neighborhood litter-free street by street. It allows citizens to remove unsightly trash along the City of Douglasville right-of-ways while promoting a sense of civic responsibility and pride and contributing to overall community beautification.

As an Adopt-A-Road volunteer, you will receive:
Submit Interest Form: Express your commitment by filling out the Interest Form.
Review Contractual Obligations & Safety Guidelines: Review this document(PDF, 184KB) to ensure it aligns with your group's goals and safety standards.
Sign Agreement: The Agreement will be sent to you via email after completion of your Orientation.
Submit Schedule of Cleanups: Help us coordinate and support your efforts by submitting a schedule of your planned cleanups.
Submit Organization Contact Information: This ensures our team can reach out to your group if needed.
Submit Volunteer Waivers: Ensure your volunteers are covered by submitting the necessary waivers(PDF, 424KB).
Before Cleanups, Submit Equipment Request Form: Plan ahead by submitting the Equipment Request Form to ensure you have the tools needed for a successful cleanup.
Book an Appointment with our Booking Tool: Use our convenient booking tool to schedule an appointment for equipment pickup before your cleanups.
